On the Ethics and Consistancy of Politics
So this senator Craig does something inappropriate and is getting hammered for it. His party is hanging him out to dry. He’ll probably resign from office. He’s politically dead.
Curiously, Hillary Clinton’s biggest campaign asset (for the primaries at least) is her husband. Who, “did not have sexual relations with that woman,” in the oval office of the White House. He doesn’t even get a wrist slap.
Someone please explain to me why we consistently vote into office people we wouldn’t want in or homes, dating our daughters, or having our sons be interns for.
Tell me why, on this green Earth, does one political candidate need $32 million for the primaries! At this point, I’m thinking that the 2nd or 3rd largest industry in the US is campaigning for political office.
Here’s my plan. Find the person with the smallest campaign budget and vote for them. They at least aren’t owned by anyone.
